Acts of Kindness :)

For some reason this week I feel the need to keep giving people my pens and now I am left with none haha. It started as a simple act. Someone in the radio station was looking for a pen but could not find one, so I offered to let them borrow the pen I had available in my bag. Honestly, it was my best pen. I got it last year for free from the business fraternity on campus so it looked really professional. As I was going to leave, the person was still diligently filling out forms so I just said goodbye and left without asking for my pen back. Although it was my best pen and I miss it, hopefully they will put it to good use. By this time in the school year, I have noticed that my school supplies are dwindling. Although I have probably ten pens in mu backpack, I'm lucky if one even works. Yesterday, in my English class it took me about five minutes to find a pen I could take notes with. This girl came in late to class and sat down next to me and, realizing her pen was out of ink, she asked me if I had one to spare. I looked at my last pen fondly, and said "sure" and gave her the one out of my hand. I had to leave early in order to make it to work on time so I let her keep it. So now I am left with no pens but I feel okay haha. I have the feeling that the next time I go to class and ask to borrow a pen from the person next to me that they willingly return the favor :)
