Alternate Identity Critique #2

Well, I just got out of our last official class :( and now I must reflect on our last project. Today's projects were all very interesting but I have to admit, were somewhat lacking in documentation. I know after doing the project that is was difficult to decipher how to document since people often shy away from cameras. In spite of this, I think that Joshua's was my favorite of the day. His video was entertaining and well edited. I began reading the excerpt underneath and it went with the project very well. It told his life story on how he came to be a ninja, including the deaths of his parents and being adopted in to "the shadows." His documentation fit the project and I think it was a good choice to make it all black and white. It made it look like an old time ninja film.

I guess my least favorite execution-wise was Darcey's. i did like her video because it seemed realistic in the way that it was a "rant" but since she didn't have any other documentation it was hard to tell what her experience was really like. I saw her in lecture on Monday dressed very conservatively and being quiet so i know that she kept up the persona for two days. Perhaps she could have documented public activities or even have tried to go to a party dressed the way she did and see if anyone would have treated her differently. I just wanted to see the other side of the story but even in my own project it was difficult to get people's reactions.
