I've been working on my playlist for my radio show on KCSB tomorrow night so I'm currently researching a bunch of new music. While doing this I thought back to some pretty awesome music videos that I have come across this year. I do not always look up the videos along with the song but when they turn out as great as some of the following ones I am glad that I do. I feel like music videos are not as important as they once were. They are rarely played on television anymore so as far as marketing goes, they are not vital to a band's image. I like when bands/directors still take the time to create a video that really fits a song. It gives the listeners another image to picture while they play the music. Some of the videos I am about to share I have watched nearly ten or twenty times. For me, they make the song so much better. I have a lot of ideas for certain videos to go along with the songs that I love but have yet to make them. Summer project maybe? We'll I guess. I hope everyone enjoys these videos as much as I do!
