Themes/Projects

These are my ideas on potential projects/exercises that deal with the various themes of the class so far...

Confession:
-This is a difficult one to try to make something fun out of haha.
-Read a random page from your journal/diary in front of the class/school, in a microphone
-Confess something you haven't without words- create a piece of art that you wear which resembles your confession

Sequence and Narratives:
-We could do another improv game like on Whose Line... I remember watching one where they are given a plot for a movie and one person is the director and the rest are actors. They start acting it out but they keep being interrupted by the director who suddenly changes the genre of movie.

-For an individual project we could possibly write a journal in the style of one of our favorite authors or re-write the ending of a famous book.

Alternate Personas:
-Take on a new and completely different persona from your own for a day and observe how you are treated differently as well as how your behavior changed.
-We could join various groups on campus, not as just observers but more as up and coming leaders, kind of like Johnny Depp in the movie Donnie Brasco or any undercover cop.
-Switch lives with someone in the class, or with anyone you feel "has it easier" than you.
-All of these ideas remind me of the show "30 days" with Morgan Spurlock (great show if you haven't seen it)

Personal Space:
-Be attached to someone for the whole day (live as conjoined twins)
-Do something you would normally do in private outside such as set up your bed in the middle of the school and pretend you're just waking up
