This week I mostly just worked on our assignment for Wednesday. I had a few ideas before I finally concluded on brushing my teeth in water fountains. At first, I wanted to brush my teeth in public restrooms but as my friends and later classmates informed me, that is not all too weird. My other ideas involved a mattress that my friend has in her house. We wanted to take it to the middle of the bike loop and set it up so I would just be waking up. The reason that this plan flopped is because we had no idea how we could get a twin mattress from her house on Sueno to the middle of campus :( I also really wanted to do something on the bus. I did not really have any ideas but then I thought that the bus driver might kick me off for disturbing the driving. It reminded me of that scene in "(500) Days of Summer" where Tom yells and the bus driver asks him to leave (I couldn't find a clip but hopefully you know what I am referring to).
Anyways, although I was reluctant to do this assignment at first I enjoyed it very much. The only unfortunate thing for all of us I think was that people did not seem to care as much as we all hoped that they would. I guess we have to do crazier things here in order to get a decent reaction. I was trying to find crowded spaces for my experiment like Campbell Hall but even then no one even made a comment at me.
This whole assignment reminded me of the show Trigger Happy TV. They do some pretty funny pranks and this one is one of my favorites. No one really responds to his behavior which is weird...
